COVID-19 created ideal conditions for online fraud: people were anxious, reliable information changed quickly, and unfamiliar links arrived every day. A convincing page could steal credentials or payment information before a victim had time to question it.
This project gave people a quick way to investigate a suspicious URL and receive a clear report before deciding whether to trust it.
